Clean beauty is a portion of the beauty industry that only produces products that are beneficial to your body and your wellbeing.

Most beauty brands on the market today use ingredients that are harmful to your health and also to the environment.

Why

Clean beauty looks to support your skin by using ingredients that support and protect your skin. It is also part of the beauty industry that is making greatest headway with supporting our planets wellness. Many clean beauty brands are focused on sustainability and becoming (or already are) zero waste companies. A lot of brands also use totally recyclable packaging, some even use biodegradable packaging. However, if you are new to the clean beauty world then it can seem somewhat overwhelming.

Welcome to clean beauty

Beauty Clean By Amy is committed to only using products that are beneficial to all clients, for both their skin needs and their overall health.

What it means

Starting to become ingredient aware and learning to know which brands that say they are “clean” really are clean. Many words in the beauty industry are not regulated and this can allow for false advertising. For instance, the word “natural” can be used by any brand without any need to prove the validity of their claim. Well, when you think about it, there are lots of things out there that are natural that you don’t want to put on your face! Unfortunately the term “clean beauty” is as of yet not regulated which means that sometimes brands can mislead you into believing that they are clean conscious and putting your health first when they in fact are not.
